20 years ago, I talked about how journalism in the digital age would be all about individual voices with direct, trustworthy relationships with their readers, listeners, and viewers. So many institutional outlets didn't believe it. Nobody saw me as a "journalist," just a "blogger." 20 years later, it's ok to say this: I was right.
