@CWood_sdf Levels of abstraction are the point. Code is not abstraction, specification is the attempt to retain detail while moving to another level of abstraction.

i love how people are saying "if we write a sufficiently detailed specification, the agent can write all our code" do you know what writing a sufficiently detailed specification that deterministically maps to what a computer's actions is? it's coding

@Teknium Am I just missing something, every time I used a worktree, it broke because the gitignored things like node_modules and .env vars were not copied into the worktree dir... (not a hermes thing obviously, more across the whole agentic coding world)

Hermes Agent tip of the morning: Did you know if you're working on developing a git project, you can put hermes agent sessions into a worktree with -w flag? Navigate to the git project directory you want to work on, and type: `hermes -w` Now you can have as many hermes agents working in parallel on a project as you want! hermes-agent.nousresearch.com/docs/user-guid…

@emollick Piranesi! Love that it tried to put in some water, for the tides. Or maybe I'm just imagining it?

Had early access to GPT-5.4 and Pro. They are very good. One fun illustration of progress, this is the same prompt I used in GPT-4 below (making a 3D space inspired by Piranesi) now in GPT-5.4 Pro. There were no errors, made in a single prompt plus one to "make it better."

Claude 3 & GPT-4: "the book Piranesi as a p5js 3d space. do it for me" After a few rounds of revisions, this is what they came up with - Claude on the left, GPT-4 on the right. Given the limits, neat. I think the rising and falling tides from Claude 3 are a cute touch.

"This is a really sharp synthesis. Let me reflect back what I think you're saying " I get that too often out of Claude. A polite way to say, man, what you been smoking, ha.

@ystrickler This sounds excellent, and your TED talk really resonated with me. How does one join this movement?

Yesterday, I announced the concept of an Artist Corporation via @TEDTalks. What is an A-Corp, and why is it better than existing structures (LLC, S-Corp, etc.)? Put simply: A-Corps allow creative individuals to fully participate in capitalism, without sacrificing their creative freedom. Let me explain.

@cocktailpeanut Congrats! I know you worked hard on this. I'm mostly quiet on the Discord, but I appreciate the app (and the other apps I get to try because of it.)
