@fandomediahead It’s not a jab, he didn’t say anything negative about said theories just acknowledged that people have theories about them dating… metaphorically and canonically. A jab would’ve been a direct insult to those with theories.

Another thing I identified with regard to Syd’s scarf: it’s Japanese selvedge, the same way the pants Carmy sold in the show’s first ep to save The Beef from going bankrupt are Japanese selvedge denim.

There’s much layers to this. In S1, she gets into a heated confrontation with Richie and walked out of Carmy. Four seasons later, she bids Richie good luck and goodbye for his trip to Japan, and runs back to Carmy. All of this, wearing the same scarf. 🥹
