There's NO autonomy in #HISD. Mike Miles refused to let the schools do any STAAR preparation but STAAR scores are a part of teachers'/principals' evaluation? There's ZERO training on MAP testing yet it's a part of the evaluation. This is only on paper nothing will change.

@houston_tsta It seems that all divisions are equally horrible. Central division is horrendous and totally not doing what is best for HISD students.

The #HISD South Division is the most toxic and disrespectful leadership. They were horrible before the takeover but they have sank to new level of low.

@houston_tsta No such thing as any kind of autonomy with this administration. We tried to exercise our autonomy and were reassigned for it. "My way or the highway" is more accurate in this situation.

Supporters of HISD Magnets data shows that 41% of the principals being NON RENEWED/terminated are from #HISD A & B campuses. These campuses are non NES who were supposed to have complete autonomy of their campuses.
