During this week’s fast-moving #HighlandFire in Riverside County, incident personnel made the decision Monday to continue the firefight from the air overnight. The crew from Copter 301 in CAL FIRE’s Riverside Unit dropped 4,200 gallons of water in an effort to slow the wind-driven fire. By daylight the next day, due to a combination of C301’s efforts and improved weather conditions, the fire had slowed significantly, allowing ground resources to make significant progress in stopping the fire. #aviation #aerialfirefighting #AviationHistoryMonth

When yellow light turns on, you know what pedal you need to press, right? No, not THAT pedal. I guess we can call this SIA: Sudden Intended Acceleration. Something nobody expects from you which makes it doubly dangerous. This is a common theme in #TeslaCrashFootage (not on AP)

Who has done a worse job naming their EVs? Audi has a luxury EV SUV named "E-Tron," but then they decided "E-Tron" should be a brand, not a model. So there's a “regular” E-Tron, which is an SUV, but also a Q4 E-Tron, which is a smaller SUV. And an E-Tron GT, which is a sedan.
