@venkymysoremama @pau40314 @BadtameezDog @ZyedSafwan13550 “I used to think that too. Then I realized cricket didn’t hold Indian sports back—it showed that an Indian sport can become a global success. The issue isn’t cricket’s success, it’s the lack of similar development in other sports

@krishnamanoipss The biggest reason by India is never been qualified is not bureaucracy on not players. It’s the fans the football fans of India hate cricket in by some reason I like European football more than they wanted to adapt European football to India. Meanwhile, we left our roots.

@notferranbot Cricket doesn’t have FIFA’s global reach. FIFA doesn’t have cricket’s hold over 2 billion people. Different juice.🔥

@saintfenrir @BarLiv__Raj Every reply gets closer to the truth. First nobody cared. Then some countries cared. Now some people care. Keep going, you’ll get there eventually.😂🔥

@fill_join @BarLiv__Raj Literary that 2 billions are only from South Asia 😂😂 Go travel and see for yourself that nobody gives a fuck about cricket outside of South Asia. In Australia only old people do and the South Asian diasporas who live there. Across multiple continents? Show me.

@rudemiss17 Indian cricket became a powerhouse by building itself, not by crying about football. Indian football should do the same.”

@litandas258461 “As an Indian football fan and cricket fan, I don’t want India at the FIFA World Cup until we stop treating foreign players like gods and our own athletes like jokes. Respect the Indian jersey first—whether it’s football, cricket, hockey, or anything else.

@Santhoxsh The irony is calling people ‘Kohli zombies’ while believing Ronaldo winning a World Cup will somehow develop Indian football. One is supporting your own country’s sporting icon, the other is waiting for a foreign player to solve your country’s football problems.”

@saintfenrir @BarLiv__Raj You asked me to travel. The ICC already did. That’s why there are World Cup teams from Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania. Your argument requires pretending they don’t exist.”

@ragav_x You spent an entire graphic proving football is bigger than cricket. That’s like making a chart to prove the sun is hot. Nobody was arguing that in the first place.

@pau40314 @ZyedSafwan13550 150+ countries take football seriously. Agreed. But football didn’t start with 150 serious countries either. Growth is a process, not a snapshot. Cricket’s challenge is expansion, not survival.”

@iamshubham_15 @BenEdison_99 Most of the world doesn’t play baseball either, yet MLB is thriving. A sport isn’t dying just because another sport is more popular in some countries. Cricket is adding new markets, new teams, and even made it into the Olympics.”

@fill_join @BenEdison_99 Growing? Cricket is dying mate. In England, football has surpassed it in popularity. NZ and Australia are moving more towards rugby than cricket. West Indies and Sri Lanka have declined massively.

@venkymysoremama @pau40314 @BadtameezDog @ZyedSafwan13550 If only Indians cared, cricket wouldn’t be in the Olympics, wouldn’t have sold-out stadiums across multiple continents, and wouldn’t have professional teams from Australia to the Caribbean. Dislike it if you want, but at least be accurate.”

@iamshubham_15 @BenEdison_99 “48 teams proves football’s global reach. It doesn’t prove cricket is irrelevant. One sport is over a century into global expansion; the other is still growing. That’s the point.”

@saintfenrir @BarLiv__Raj Funny how ‘nobody cares’ includes over 2 billion fans, Olympic inclusion, packed stadiums across multiple continents, and one of the richest sports leagues in the world. It’s okay if you don’t like cricket, but that’s not the same thing as nobody caring.”

@BarLiv__Raj Brazil qualifying for a FIFA World Cup isn’t celebrated like Morocco reaching a semifinal. Australia winning a 6th Cricket World Cup isn’t celebrated like Nepal qualifying for its first. Context matters.”

@electricabhi @BarLiv__Raj Nepal celebrated T20 World Cup qualification. Afghanistan and Bangladesh celebrated major cricket milestones too. People celebrate what’s historic for them. Australia not having a parade after a sixth World Cup says more about how accustomed they are to winning than it does about

@XuserAsish BCCI doesn’t need to dream about FIFA. It built the IPL from scratch in 2008 and turned it into a multi-billion dollar league. Most sports organizations would kill for that kind of ‘dream’.” 🏏🔥
