grief really is cruel isn’t it kak? we could be having the happiest moment of our lives, and it hits out of nowhere. it can be something as simple as going to the grocery store and seeing their favorite fruit and suddenly everything aches all over again. it’s really in the smallest, most ordinary moments that it finds us. even when we feel like we’ve reached acceptance, grief can hit out of nowhere and pull us right back into denial. it’s never as linear as we hope it’ll be. grief is just… something we don’t really get over ya?
