.@tess_mccracken your post isn’t cute or cool. It’s lame. Now you’ve locked your account and you’re probably boo-hooing that Riley attacked you (she didn’t). You blocked a person who liked your push up video because her politics are different than yours. You’re the mean girl.

@MiloCoastie @Riley_Gaines_ @JenniferSey The issue isn’t about scale (how many are there) rather category definition. If even one male is admitted into the female category on the basis of “gEnDeR iDeNtiTy”, then the category is no longer based on sex. We reject any attempt to replace sex with gender identity.

@Riley_Gaines_ @JenniferSey Why are you still banging on about trans people in sport? Your horseshit has been totally debunked. There were 5 trans athletes in the college system, & 4 were transmen. There's been 1 trans athlete who competed at Olympic level. Trans people r an easy target. You're a bully.

@shizachico I don't disagree. Like I said, I don't have the solution, I just know that losing a match because of a time violation is not a sport I want to watch.

@fullsendDG On top of that. Instead of competition calling each other out needs to stop. They need an official on most cards like they do in the pga. Players shouldn’t be calling penalties on each other. That one is a really stupid thing.

I want disc golf tournaments to be decided by throwing, not time violations/penalty strokes. I don't have a solution for pace of play, I just know that needling players with threats of penalty strokes ain't it.

@fullsendDG So you think it’s more important to not follow the rules and screw over others so you can have more time that you shouldn’t need?

@shizachico The consequence needs to be something that the pros who are expected to call these things are willing to accept. So long as the penalty is a stroke, they won't call it.

@fullsendDG Sometimes you have to enforce the rules or others pay consequences. Slow play on one card can throw off the cards behind them. That’s also not fair. So it’s a damned if you do damned if you don’t kind of situation.

One of the hardest parts about running is picking your race pace. Go out too fast and you blow up. Go out to slow and you feel like you left time on the table. I’m sure it gets easier the more races you do, but man is it scary to lock something in.

@Brodiesmith21 Don't pick a race pace - pick a strategy. When I raced half-marathons, I liked to do the first 6-8 miles at about 70-75% effort, then gradually take 5-10 seconds off each mile until mile 10, then drop the hammer and go 95% effort on the last 3.1 miles. This was my PR strategy.

@DGDumpsterFire @SicRhythm @los_jiv This is solid info. I've been thinking of grabbing a Bokeh. I have enough flippy stuff in my bag. Looking to add some stability. I'll definitely grab the proton.

@SicRhythm @los_jiv I love both. Neutron really just hyzer flips with zero effort right out of the box. The Proton really is more the desired flight I am looking for out of the mold

Kept grabbing my bokehs a lot today (shut up @los_jiv). Neutron flips up super easy. Burned over on me a few times but I think it was due to wind. Proton solid as fuck. More work to come with it to see where it fits. Generally enjoyed throwing it all round

@shizachico Imagine that epic Gannon vs. Ricky battle at the Big Easy Open coming to an end because Gannon took 5 seconds too long to throw a shot. That's not a sport I want to watch. Apparently, the pros don't either, which is why they never call time violations on each other.

@fullsendDG Just like anything in life. There has to be a consequence for not doing the job. 1 minute to get a shot off is a lifetime. They’re are supposed to be pros so it shouldn’t take them forever to throw a shot. All sports are like this why is disc golf different?

@AllenLHP Counter argument - cut the bottom of the MPO field (have less players) rather than separate the entire FPO. As a spectator at a DGPT event, I would rather see the top 50 females at the same event than the bottom 50 MPO.

@fullsendDG All the time, just imagine instead of four, it was three per card! They could get a round in within 2 hours. DGN could have a 3-hour program which included multiple cards and lead. They can’t do this with FPO getting the 9am tee off time.

@DiscGolfHobo77 @AllenLHP @DiscGolfProTour It would be great if they volunteered that, but in a free market, that can't be compelled. Also, I don't know enough of the business side of disc golf to have any serious takes.

Luke Taylor’s mom was on @DebateNightPod talking about how she would like to see payouts higher, especially being a tour mom, but would have loved for @Brodiesmith21, @FDG_Hunter_T or another person to ask how she feels about the way FPO is subsidized. Would have loved to hear her take as a long-time local FPO pro and a mom of a mid-tier touring player… I know she wants to FPO growth; but does she the FPo growth hurting MPO growth

@fullsendDG Pace of play: best solution, separate the MPO and FPO. We would completely eliminate 4-hour rounds if the very first MPO card went out at 9am, and each card 15 mins after.
