Lovable was the best platform to Vibecode it was affordable, Fast, efficient but now it’s bombarded with errors low quality results and they started charging for pretty much everything the platform is super greedy and works like shit ever since the lovable 2.0 dropped it has become less lovable other competitors are now much better been using lovable for past 5 months well guess what I’m moving to bolt now it’s much better.

Once a project becomes quite developed and complex, I enter a mode where I need to “tweak” certain elements to perfect things — the problem is that in trying to tweak those specific elements, it often changes things beyond my request in other areas of the project; I try using screenshots and very specific language and articulation to isolate changes, but it still faces this problem identified. I think to make lovable 10x more powerful, projects must be understood in “phases”; towards the beginning, the project is a big open canvas, and big ideas from the AI are very needed to create organizational structures and a foundational design… there’s lots of flexibility. But as the project progresses, so does the way in which you want to change things and work with the AI.. it becomes more nuanced and specific.

There’s a $2.99 app in the App Store right now “My Classic - Retro Console” that’s hiding its true feature: an iPod Classic emulator that utilizes your Apple Music library. It works amazingly well and if you want it, get it before Apple pulls it (they will).
