@stellamilfburn The best example I’ve seen for showing this is actually Boondock Saints. Only one of the two lead actors actually wanted to smoke, the other didn’t inhale. When you inhale it makes the cloud thicker and more “cloudy” if that makes sense. Faking it makes it wispy and thin.

question to smokers! how can you differentiate when actors are smokers and non smokers when watching them do it on screen cause ive seen quite a few posts saying they can see it

@stellamilfburn @brdqe if you want a clear example side by side, in "Bundock Saints" somewhere in the first minutes two brothers (Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery) simultaneously exhale, and you can very clearly see that Sean is a health nut 😁

@stellamilfburn @brdqe non-smokers will only exhale a small puff, because they only inhale into their mouth. smokers fill in their lungs, and exhale much more smoke, often projecting it far, or directing it somewhere
