So the Fever need to improve in the following areas: 1) Specialist Scouting & Culture; 2) Data Driven Roster building/depth; 3) Investment, Amenities & Facilities (already started).

So I got blocked by @August_21_1831 because I replied that the only sources I saw, said there wasn’t a $350M offer /stake by the state of Connecticut for the Connecticut Sun. I still haven’t found a source to his earlier tweet. If I’m wrong so be it, but site a (the) source.

@August_21_1831 @FOS @AnnieCostabile As far as I’ve read the State never offered $350M. The $350M was the valuation the WNBA said the franchise was worth. The state of CT offered $100M for a 30% share using state pension funds and to keep the Mohegan Tribe as the owners, a non-starter IMO.

@TheHoopHerald If you’d seen Paige in High School, you might say that she lost her killer instinct at UCONN. She defers to much. Can’t handle blitzes or full court presses as well as Caitlin. Paige might be a better SG, Caitlin is the better PG.

@FeverUpdate As a Minnesotan and BigTen fan, I can honestly say that I watched WBB back in the day because of Lindsey Whalen (Minnesota Gophers and the Lynx) and Maya Moore (despite being a Husky). I stopped when they had both retired. I watched again due to Caitlin Clark (Iowa Soph Yr).

@kenswift @johnnphoto Steph’s a good coach but Fever FO didn’t build a team to support CC (or CC & AB) in 2025. In 2026 or beyond they need to build around CC (& AB). They need to run, space out the floor, 3pt snipers, solid 4 /5 to catch & shoot (no dribble), bkup PG to run/gun, and use CC’s gravity.

@kenswift @johnnphoto CC with Steph - The Fever FO (Kelly, Amber plus Steph) focused on forming a team to win, not necessarily around CC. Dewanna & Natasha didn’t fit well nor did they pass. The Offense wasn’t built around CC’s gravity. Yet CC and Steph respect each other but disagree at times.

CC & Bluder respected each other and they began recruiting in 7th grade. CC with Sides - Until the Olympic break, Sides was focused on her vision. No mutual respect there.
