@cooksleft @NotOrangePod That was probably best seen CJ play for a while. I am not his biggest fan, but yesterday he got stuck in and I was praying he would smash it in in the last minute 😂. We looked good in midfield and I have said before Brown looks better when Honeyman doesn’t start.

@ibbotsa @NotOrangePod CJ was excellent. There was a solidity to his performance that hasn't been there. He won some crucial tackles and even headers and got forward as well. Agree on the others, Karoy I'd love to look at keeping - he's young and he's energetic, Brown was good and Horsfall etc too.

Happy with that? 🤔 Two superb saves from BPF in the second half. 👏 Clean sheet and a strong defensive performance.

@NotOrangePod God we needed that. Thought Bowler was superb and he needs to be played out wide. Brown is so much better when Honeyman isn’t on the pitch and credit to Anderson when he came on. Bloxham, instant impact and took us up the field. Not pretty but we are still in the fight. UTMP 🍊

@NotOrangePod Exactly, what shape are we playing, because it looks the usual hoofball. Randall isn’t in the game, Honeyman is absolutely useless and Brown is literally trying to run midfield on his own. Bowler looks bright but the lack of quality is frightening. We have had 1 shot on target 🤬

@mattywazza @deluca2223 Bruce set the standard for the whole season. I said during pre season that it wasn’t right. He kept saying how he hated pre season and this gave the players an excuse. He wanted to be a figurehead and get the coaches to do the hard work and they weren’t up to it. We never recover

I do not wish to even contemplate 'the rebuild' (version 4) being overseen by same people as the last 3. The 'football operation' = a disaster zone. Act on it. If you don't, then things are going to become untenable. It's a joke to leave failing people in role so long.

@cooksleft So, have we signed a player for a lot of money who wasn’t fit, or can’t stand the rigours of L1 ( he certainly won’t cope in L2 then). Whose decision was it to buy him ? The list of failures is endless over last few years. We also let go Banks (5 goals, 5assists) as doesn’t fit

@cooksleft The signing of Clarkson sums it up for me. I thought we were getting a ball playing CM to go alongside our run all day but hoof it midfield. After promising debut, he has been played in not sure where position. Then we are told we need to manage his minutes, not physical enough

@NotOrangePod If he can get him to change system and drop players who are so out of form or just not good enough, then it will be positive. If ends up just being the same, then unfortunately another legend will be tarred with relegation.

@csbol01 @cooksleft Yes there are issues at the top, but we had promotions with good teams under the Oystons , so some of this is down to managers and players. Last night I thought we are not going to get out of this. The fight just isn’t there and we have no quality despite having ‘quality players’

@cooksleft There is a yawning gap where leadership, engagement and communication should be. I feel for Evatt. The club has invested heavily in players but hasn't created the environment needed for them to thrive. Problems at the top affect the whole organisation.

It's this. It has to be. The trend is clear. The club is mired in a lethargy and the decision making is awful, listless, reactive. We cannot possibly trust the same duo to rebuild us again who have squandered so poorly the opportunities we had.

@cooksleft That interview is difficult to watch and you can genuinely tell how he distraught he is. But we are soft, concede shit goals and have done for about 4 years and that is a reflection on the club as a whole.

This club eats managers and players. Since we signed Ash Fletcher, not one single permanent signing has really worked out for us. Not one has really improved on where they were or had a big impact. Something is properly wrong for the vibe to be *this* It's sad as fuck.

@NotOrangePod We absolutely are going down and to be honest we deserve it. There is nothing there at all. Players think they are better than they are, not enough fight ( except Ennis) and defended Evo, but if you keep doing the same thing, then you get the same result. This formation dont work

@NotOrangePod We have absolutely no control of the game at anytime. It is literally hit and hope. Body language isn’t great and I am sorry, but Honeyman is like a headless chicken. No control of the ball, everything is frantic. Wimbledon just look fitter, faster to the ball. We are doomed.

It gets worse and worse. Wimbledon better in every aspect. We’re fighting for our lives and we come out like a spineless group who couldn’t give a toss.

@cooksleft @sedds247 You are right, we don’t have a Madine( who also was great defensively). I think 3 up top with at least some width may give us certainly more than we are getting at present. Wigan, whilst not being great, had 2 wingers who at least gave them some width.

@ibbotsa @sedds247 The flip side is - when we did play as two banks of four, we looked horrendous and the full backs kept getting isolated. I honestly don't know what I'd do with this lot. I'd like to try one up front (4231) but we don't have a 'one up front' type striker.

Evatt's post match seems to have pissed people off. I didn't agree with his decision at all - but I thought he gave an *honest* insight into his reasons. People always say they want 'accountability' - you can't have 'accountability' if you also slate people for being honest.
