Notice that every single survivor of the Pahalgam terrorist attack is speaking in terms of love from and of Kashmir is, of Hindu Muslim unity. The folks who actually faced the bullets are talking unity. It is faraway bigots turning this into a Muslim bashing opportunity. Ugly.

The locals in Pahalgam reached out right after they heard wailings of people. The kashmir people held protests, taking out candle light marches. The people are united in the ground against what happened in the valley, except social media sanghis and prime time godi anchors.

India does not have news channels. It has hate machines.

It’s basic common sense but in today’s India, this needs to be said out loud—Kashmiris and Muslims living across India have absolutely nothing to do with the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. As a society, we must ensure that they are not harassed in the name of “retaliation”.
