🇮🇳 Students from the #ComputerEngineering Department of the #DonBosco Institute of #Technology earned 2nd place at the Youth Development for #Climate Tech Global Summit 2026 with their technological innovation project #EcoLens, and ranked among the top nine teams worldwide.

🇫🇷 A delegation from the Instituto Superior #DomBosco Maputo took part in a training and exchange programme in Europe that led them to @DBIMA_EU in #Paris, exploring digital media, #communication and #AI in education while strengthening collaboration within the #IUS network.

🇮🇳 A four-member delegation from Université Don Bosco de #Lubumbashi, led by Rector Jean Luc Moyo, visited #IUS institutions in Shillong, Meghalaya for an academic exchange. The team met with faculty and will also visit Assam #DonBoscoUniversity to strengthen collaboration.

🇲🇬 #DonBosco University is taking shape in #Madagascar. For over 40 years, Bishop Rosario Vella has served communities in Moramanga. Supported by the Italian Episcopal Conference and SDB, the project will offer study programs expanding access to #highereducation for local youth.

📌Our general coordinator, Fr. George Thadathil, met with Angelo Jimenez to explore partnerships between the University of the #Philippines and #Salesian #universities in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, including faculty development, institutional visits, and joint #research.

🇮🇳 Students from #Salesian College launched LuvlyU, a digital platform helping youth reconnect with their inner spark and express their authentic selves. It offers video sessions and interactive reflections on self-worth and #personalgrowth, aiming to inspire individual talent.

🇲🇿 Professors from the Instituto Superior Dom Bosco have begun a European academic exchange to strengthen #STEM, robotics, and #AI education. The initiative focuses on active learning, research collaboration, and partnerships to enhance faculty exchange and postgraduate programs.

🇨🇩 II IUS Formation Meeting at Université Don Bosco de Lubumbashi highlighted the importance of synodality and accompaniment in higher education. Staff reflected on the #university’s journey, youth aspirations, and the mission of forming responsible citizens and agents of change.

🇵🇭 At the ISS–FMA 4th World Meeting, Fr. George Thadathil, coordinator, presented a vision for the future of Salesian Higher Education. Sessions addressed cultural identity, global education challenges, youth realities, and the need for accompaniment and empowerment in education.

🇪🇸 The EUSS reflected on how a gender perspective can transform technological and product design. Experts noted many technologies were built around a male standard, overlooking diverse users. Speakers urged inclusive design and diverse teams to prevent bias and improve innovation

🇮🇳 Fr. Ricardo Campoli visited #IUS institutions in Chennai, meeting with communicators and media students. He encouraged them to use technology, design, and storytelling in service of the Gospel and society, emphasizing that communication must always focus on the joy of service.

🇵🇭 @DBTC_Cebu inaugurated the Bugsay Leadership Center, featuring an auditorium and library for learning, leadership formation and #community activities. Inspired by the #Bugsay philosophy, the project reflects nearly 70 years of partnership with the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.

🇮🇳 Cross-Cultural Dialogue Connects India–#SriLanka Cultural Ties with Digital Media Trends at @DonBoscoUniv. Media leaders joined faculty and #students to discuss the strengths of cultural ties in communication, digital media’s impact on #GenZ, and the future of communicators.

🇧🇷 UniSALESIANO has placed Araçatuba on the global map of oncology research. The Dom Bosco Clinical Research Center, with the Medicine Program and Santa Casa hospital, is approved for international studies, giving patients access to treatments and strengthening medical education.

🇮🇳 Salesian College launched Everrooted, a digital ecological intelligence platform that turns everyday choices into environmental action. Using real-time data, simulators, biodiversity tracking and climate models, it helps users understand and improve their impact on the planet.

🇮🇹 The 2026 Dies Academicus at @IUS_VE marked the start of the academic year 2026 with a shared commitment to responsible #ArtificialIntelligence use. Students and professors worked together in organizing the event and sought to shape future guidelines for #AI in university life.
