@HarmlessHQ Factor in the cost of maintaining those ships and service men at the strait for another one week. Madness! An ego war. Utterly pointless!

15 US warships are now in the Strait of Hormuz, implementing the blockade. If these guys stay there up to 10 days, Iran's economy may be close to that of South Sudan.

Judging by Iran’s reaction so far since the war started, it appears they are determined to inflict as much pain on the U.S. and by extension, the rest of the world as possible. But that raises a more pressing question. How much of itself is the U.S. willing to lose by engaging in what increasingly looks like a fruitless battle with Iran?

Iran is in a bind: If they fire on an American vessel or an American-escorted vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, you can be sure that all hell will be unleashed upon them. One thing is for sure - this is not going to end well for the Iranian regime, or for their ally in Beijing.

Trust me, the Iran expected this reaction from Trump. As reported on media, they didn't want to entertain talks with the U.S if not that Parkistan appealed and even sent it's military to bring the Iranian for the ceasefire talks. It was already quite obvious to the Iranians that they were dealing with a mad dog who cannot take NO for an answer. It almost seems like Iran has been preparing for this

Iran never expected this move from Trump. They actually had three expectations from Trump. 1. Agree to some of Iran's deals and beg them to open the Strait of Hormuz. 2. Wait till the ceasefire elapses and continue striking. 3. Cede control of the Strait to Iran. And Trump threw them totally off balance by resolving to join them in the blockade. Their PhD holders didn't predict this also. 😂

@HarmlessHQ This sounds more like someone who is very unstable and desperate than someone who is smart and has an actual strategy.

Trump: You don't have to close the Strait of Hormuz... It's an important waterway. Iran: You're nuts... The Strait is in our backyard and we have closed it. Trump: This is not good for the world economy; please reopen the Strait. Iran: We're not reopening anything. It is closed and that's final. Trump: we can't even reopen it... We already have enough oil and are willing to sell to interested buyers. Iran: 😂😂😂 you're now afraid of our mines in the Strait. We told you. IRAN IS WINNING!!! Trump: okay! That's perfectly fine. We can even help you close the Strait completely. Iran: I don't understand. I can't remember asking for your help. Trump: you don't have to. What are brothers for. We're going right into the Strait to close it completely. Iran: you can go in there. We have mines all over the place and we have forgotten where the mines are. Trump: don't bother yourself. We'll find the mines, remove them and close the Strait completely. Iran: you don't have to do that... Can you just calm down let's talk over this 🙏 Trump: don't worry. The Strait would be closed completely tomorrow, no ship enters your port and no ship leaves your port. Iran: 🙆🙆🙆 you're already taking this thing too far... Besides we're even planning to reopen the Strait tomorrow. Trump: don't bother again kid bro... Let's do it your own way. Iran: this is serious but you said you're going to keep negotiating with us. 😭 Trump: we'll come back later but for now the Strait is blocked. Iran: please, can you just allow me send this 4 million barrels to China, they've already paid. Trump: of course you will, just forward the receipt of your $8 million dollars toll fee to Vance. Iran: Truuuuuuuuump!!!!!

@novieverest Why would China choose to buy oil from Venezuela where access is constrained by U.S. influence and likely priced at or near international rates when it can source from Iran, which is geographically closer and sold at a discount?

@cnnbrk Trump's fragile ego is hurting. Defeat is inevitable and prolonging the situation only deepens the cost. The more prudent course would be to accept the loss, and move on.

Any deal with Iran that falls short of what Obama secured would be seen as a failure for Trump, and Americans would not hesitate to call him out. Alternatively, he could choose to continue down the path of conflict—a route that, in my view, is far more uncertain and likely to inflict greater damage on both him and the American economy in the long run. At this point, Trump may need to set aside his ego and accept whatever Iran is offering. He is only delaying the inevitable. Hope he learns his lesson from this.

I need to say this plainly the Pixel 10 Pro is one of the most underperforming phones I’ve ever used. There is little to no consideration for actual user experience. The keyboard is especially frustrating poorly laid out and overly sensitive making it far too easy to accidentally delete important messages or documents, often with no simple way to recover them. Instead of making everyday tasks easier, the phone ends up complicating them. It feels less like a device designed for the user, and more like one built to constantly push third-party apps and advertisements at every turn. very disappointing experience.

@TheEconomist I can bet that Benjamin Netanyahu likely shared similar views with Donald Trump about the alliance. They probably both saw it as weak and believed they could pursue power together and reshape global influence in their favour. Two people driven by the same sense of ego and greed.

If the Iran war damages America, it will be Binyamin Netanyahu who has made the gravest strategic mistake, in allying with an intensely polarising American president impulsive enough to wage war without support at home or overseas economist.com/united-states/…

One of the major issues I have observed with many people in employment is that they fail to develop the skill of prioritising. As a result, they allow themselves to be completely consumed by the work they do. I would strongly advise that you learn how to prioritise including making time for yourself and build other personal relationships outside work.

Removed many of the bottlenecks associated with the traditional process of opening bank accounts. Focused on everyday people rather than just high-net-worth clients, which had long been the focus of traditional banking institutions. Made loans more accessible to a wider population with minimal requirements and simplified payment processes. Almost same model as M-Pesa.
