Although it seems to be limited to using only Monotype's fonts, this AI "font pair generator" is both an educational and useful timesaver: designtaxi.com/news/425720/Mo…

@EricaGamet @AIGAeyeondesign That's much better than the last time I attended a CP conference. At the time, women also weren't chosen for the panels, even though they were more qualified and talented speakers than the men -- which also decreased the percentage of female "stage time".

I would love to see CreativePro and Photoshop World conferences included in this survey. "We surveyed gender equality at the world’s biggest design conferences—and the numbers are in" eyeondesign.aiga.org/CjWQD via @aigaeyeondesign

@amarie Keep thinking! I'm sure you'll come up with something if you put yourself in the mindset of a stressed-out, "average" reader. In print publications, they place the word "ADVERTISEMENT" at the top of content that could be confused for editorial content. "Sponsored" isn't as clear.

@jaynelson Hey Jay, I’m curious, the “Sponsored’ tag at the top isn’t enough of a tip-off? As a blog publisher I am sincerely curious. What should Macworld have done differently? (“Don’t run sponsored posts” is one option of course.)

The first Japanese person to file a patent in the U.S. (in 1883) was Jinta Hirayama. The pyrotechnist founded the Hirayama Fireworks company in Yokohama, and their bilingual, color, illustrated catalogs were ahead of their time. spoon-tamago.com/2018/11/13/jin…
