I explored the DX of p5.js global mode when using instanced mode so I asked the clanker to make a proxy wrapper Sounds great in theory but manual destructuring and not having autocomplete kind of sucks

Trying to make using p5.js in Svelte easier There's a `p5-svelte` package with the same API but it's inactive and has a memory leak Not sure I can improve the DX of cursed addons that look for a global instance but I can try

I forgot how cursed JavaScript can be as I wondered how p5.js global mode worked — functions declared inside `<script>` become available on `window` and get invoked during setup 💀 Here's the Svelte equivalent assuming you're using a CDN but you should use instanced mode

I forgot to add this only works with regular `<script>` elements but not for modules which is what modern JavaScript frameworks use
