the Ryan Holiday crash out has been a sight to see. also, his books were always the perfect example for why you should just read the primary sources instead of some guy filtering everything through his own moral framework.

Every morning I'm requested by my 4yo daughter to get her acorns at "Acorn Acres" (a place in the neighborhood with a lot of trees) when I walk the dog and bring them to her at brrakfast.

My daily secret sauce has changed a bit over the years, but these are the things I currently strive to do every day:
→ 8 hours sleep
→ 40 pages reading
→ 1 hour writing
→ 1 hour physical fitness
→ 10K steps taken
→ 20 minute meditation (this one is hardest to maintain)
→ Black coffee (a lot)
→ Double filtered water w/ electrolytes

MMA fights are NOT BJJ matches.
-BJJ matches are not, and never have been "FIGHTS".
-Wrestling is the highest winning percentage for a base style.
-Catch Wrestling solves the problems of takedowns, pinning, and submission holds.
-Grappling in MMA more resembles Folkstyle/Catch Wrestling.
-Catch Wrestling is a better base than BJJ for MMA because the concepts and training philosophies more align with MMA than BJJ does.
