Our purely chemical approach (shout-out to my wonderful collaborator Clair Gutierrez from the Raines lab) for turning proteins “ON” and “OFF” is finally out! The generality of this strategy was highlighted with three examples - lysozyme, cytochrome c, and HIV protease!
