Locked On Texans

When Caserio came out and talked about investing more into the stock market, he sounded like a man with a plan to get assets on this roster. Montgomery at RB immediately stood out:

Mr. Lineup everywhere, Tytus Howard has been traded to the Browns for a 5th-round pick. I think this indicates a few things. Houston wanted to give Howard a chance to go somewhere to get another extension. But overall, just like the Laremy trade, this is Houston’s attempt to become a more physical team in the trenches to be better in the run game. Back-to-back seasons with Stroud losing his starting OL since his rookie year.

On Jerrod Johnson. So, when Caserio said “when the stock is down, you invest in it more” in reference to Stroud being the Qb, I believe this indicates that what was around Stroud last year and maybe beyond wasn’t good enough. Johnson was, in many ways a part of that.

I will dive deeper into how Houston’s great defensive coach can build on what Mike Macdonald did this season. I remember seeing many negative tweets about Demeco and his future as a possible champion. He’s still on that trajectory.

What’s a bold move you want to see the Texans make? For me, I’ve been on the trade for Jordan Addison train.
