@SushiTurtlee ah yeah i agree with that 100%!! some people are super entitled and honestly quite difficult to handle, i think i've been quite lucky where i've never had anyone really upset at me forgetting, but knowing how twitch can be, i'm sure some people can be .... a handful !

@lovicides I think it really depends on what happens next in the interaction. The โput on the spotโ is likely referring to the chatter making the streamer feel bad by not remembering. Sometimes itโs genuine curiosity,but it sounds rude and they come off entitled to being remembered after X

maybe it's just me but when someone comes in chat and their username doesn't automatically ring a bell, i just look up their chat history and that usually does it..
it takes a few extra seconds but it avoids possibly making them feel bad for not coming by more often ๐

Hot take: Asking a streamer if they โrememberโ you in chat is kind of rude. Especially if you havenโt been to stream nor active in the community in several months OR you changed ur name. You are putting the streamer on the spot and itโs not cool.
