#Wimbledon - Day Eleven (2U) Gauff/Muchova O21.5 @ 1.61 / -164 Collab with @GuGaBetss 💪 Hit 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 - If You’re 𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 ❤️ There was alot of variables I had to consider in this matchup like the H2H being 6-1 in favour of Coco Gauff, most of them being on hard courts whilst Muchova won the most recent on a natural surface, the fact that win doesn’t mean as much knowing Gauff historically has struggled in Stuttgart, the physical problems Muchova has faced in the past, the choking nature and weaker mentality of Muchova, Gauff’s inexperience on the surface, motivation and so on… Overall, the conclusion I have come to is taking the over is the best angle for this match and that is because Karolina Muchova simply is the better player on grass and since her new coach joined the team she has been much more confident when facing Coco Gauff in recent times but as the match goes on Gauff only gets stronger and more confident and the opposite happens for Muchova, who often runs into physicality issues and mental lapses. Also, I believe Gauff has a very good understanding of Muchova’s style of tennis and is able to figure her out quickly. I can see Muchova coming out and winning the first set whilst looking like the better player, which she is on grass but as the match goes on and as Gauff finds her rhythm and targets the weaker backhand of Muchova momentum can easily flip so I really have this one going three sets, with Coco winning the third. Muchova would literally have to play a perfect match to beat Coco Gauff because Gauff has her game figured out and knows how to play against her, she knows what to target and Coco’s weakness is the surface edge, which is against her (unlike most of their h2h meetings) as she still hasn’t done anything notable on the surface compared to her success on others. Muchova was serving great in her last match and Gauff will always give you chances to break her before clawing back so for me, taking abit of huice and taking the over sounds much more logical than trying to pick a winner because I really could make an argument for both to win this, which indicates it will be tight.
