Mumbai Watermelon Food Poisoning Tragedy: Timeline
A Muslim family of four - husband (40), wife (35), daughters (16 & 13) - died from suspected food poisoning in Mumbai.
Sequence of events:
25 April, 10:30 pm - Family of 4 + 5 relatives (total 9) had dinner together at home. Relatives left after the meal.
26 April, 1:00 - 1:30 am - Only the four family members ate watermelon.
26 April, 5:30- 6:00 am - All four suddenly developed severe vomiting and loose motions.
They were first seen by a family doctor, then rushed to Sir JJ Hospital.
Younger daughter passed away at 10:15 AM.
Husband died last at 10:30 PM.
Post-mortem conducted. Histopathology report awaited.
Food items & watermelon samples seized for forensic testing.

Mumbai family of 4 die of suspected food poisoning after consuming watermelon A family of four had Biryani for dinner along with other relatives during a feast at home in Mumbai. The family later in the night consumed watermelon at around 1. All the four members of the family began complaining of vomiting and loose motion in the morning. All four died.
