Here's a practical guide for how to go to church for the first time (or the first time in a long time).
Feel free to pass this along to someone who's thinking of trying out church, but doesn't know where to start. Or if you're a Christian who goes to church, consider watching this to better imagine what it's like for someone to attend church for the first time.

When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: “That man… that young man… I forgive him.” That moment deeply affected me. I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: “ I forgive the man who killed my father.”
Peace be with you all.

@earthcurated I did visit London and had one of the downright most terrifying experiences of my life near one of the immigrant asylum hotels. I won't be going back until they solve that problem.

If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.

@maddenifico By all means, disagree with him. But if his words were anything, they certainly weren’t “thoughtless.”

@StephenKing No. It’s another example of the intolerance of the free market of ideas and speech.

@ZacksJerryRig No. There is too much hate. There’s pandering to delusion. There’s enabling of mental illness. There’s cowardice that allows tantrums to run rampant. There’s a generation that can’t cope with truth & reality. There’s a demonic delight in evil & death. Guns are symptom not cause.

@carparxter I’ve seen the school shooting mentioned everywhere. We do care. We want the school shootings to stop. ALSO, this was a significant political assassination and a direct attack on free speech. They are separate issues.

I’m sick and angry. What has happened to our country?
Enough. This week is a hinge point in our civilization’s history.
We’re done with this insanity.
