@SuperZeldaGirl Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks for SURE. A remake that changes the control scheme could breathe completely new life into those games, and getting a high def full remake of a Toon Link game could be absolutely gorgeous.

@ZeldaLoreYT If this is the direction, it isn't a bad way to do it. Take the epitome of the traditional Zelda formula in OoT and inject some of BotW's freedom in order to reverse engineer a perfect mixture of the two philosophies. It could be a smart test for the future of the franchise.

I think the reason they are remaking OOT is to see how far they can push the freedom of BOTW's philosophy within its restrictive design while maintaining the core of OOT intact, to find the balance between the new and traditional Zelda. basically EOW, but on steroids

@SuperZeldaGirl I believe Majora's Mask deserves a remake after Ocarina due to being closely linked together. Especially since MM3D had negative adjustments as opposed to OoT3D, which kept most things the same. WW and TP do not need remakes. Their HD versions are sufficient for an update.

See a lot of people saying this will be the start of all Zelda games getting remade and I have to say I don’t think so and I hope not. Ocarina is a very special case, I don’t think games like WW and TP need full remakes at least not for a LONG time.

If they don't want fans to "hijack" it, they could always provide some way for people at the event to vote rather than vote online. That way, stuff like botting isn't possible. If they're scared of fan input, then there's no point in doing the event at all.
