@davidfloyd1980 The Big10 and SEC don’t want Tech. It’s not hard or overly burdensome to keep them out. Just ignore them. Do nothing. The Big10 and SEC don’t have to consider Tech at all.

If the Big10 & SEC is tired of dealing with Cody Campbell and Texas Tech, just send the invite already. It’d be a lot easier than spending years trying to keep Texas Tech out while still having to deal with them at every turn.

@RealImJustSayin @BJSymons NCAA is all over the place with gambling as well. Go read the actual case and their statements during the hearing. NCAA literally stated that the gambling Sorsby did had no bearing on the integrity of the game. Kinda hard to complain about an injunction when throw a free gimme.

Honestly there was no reason for the NCAA to not grant Chambliss a medical redshirt. The NCAA is all over the place when it comes to granting extra years. Chambliss and Oklahomas Owen Heinecke were denied a 6th year, but Miamis Mohamed Toure got a 3rd medical redshirt? Dudes going to be playing an 8th year this fall. Either give players 5 for 4 or grant only 1 medical redshirt.

Is Ole Miss really going to cheat and play a QB that the NCAA ruled ineligible but sued in court and had a Mississippi judge issue an injunction to allow him to play? Unbelievable. Surely the SEC going to sue Ole Miss, right? The internet is going to lose their minds

@BJSymons It is normal for the NCAA to grant a player another year of eligibility due to injury. Trinidad didn’t receive that. So he went to court to get what he was owed. I don’t get why people are pretending this is irregular. It’s nowhere close to the Sorsby thing.

@BJSymons You have no damn clue do you? Trinidad has only played 3 seasons of college football 🏈 3. He got a 5th round grade, so he came back to improve his draft stock. He wasn’t betting on games.

@MrChrisCypert @BJSymons Why have eligibility rules at all if they have no bearing on the "structural integrity" of the sport. The rule of morality and integrity seems to be a sliding rule.

@BJSymons At this point, if you don’t understand the difference between eligibility questions and how gambling on your teams games destroys the structural integrity of the sport, then you’re beyond help.

Incredible how College football survived, Paying players Gambling / point shaving Steroids Academic fraud Recruiting violations Booster slush funds Cars and cash for recruits Sexual assault coverups Embezzlement Fake classes Ticket scalping Sign stealing Drug trafficking Academic cheating NIL tampering Church money scandals “Hostesses” recruiting scandals Tattoo-for-memorabilia schemes Bag men literal FBI investigations But Sorsby placing bets in games he had no impact in is what will kill it.

Billionaires gonna billionaire. Why spend Texas Tech money when you can have the State of Texas pay for it. What the hell does the Texas Attorney General have to do with a private entity & its legal organizational rules. it’s like telling a company they have to keep doing business with a member that stole from them. That dog won’t hunt. Who’s your biggest donor @KenPaxtonTX?

Before today's Big 12 Board meeting, the Conference received a letter from the Texas Attorney General’s office notifying the Big 12 of potential legal action from Texas Tech if the Conference punishes TTU for the Sorsby Decision. How is this allowed??????????

@RossDellenger @grok can the other big 12 teams decide not to play Texas tech? Can they all go to a judge of their own and have a judge rule against playing them? Like individually

As Big 12 presidents consider sanctions, Texas Tech reps notified the league that any penalty will be met with legal action, sources tell @YahooSports. Tech is exploring legal avenues with noted attorney Jeff Kessler, including seeking a second injunction bit.ly/4v1ghqC
