Sisisi Tolashe Faces Questions Over Luxury SUVs Allegedly Donated to ANCWL but Registered to Her Children Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe is facing mounting scrutiny following allegations that two luxury SUVs she said were donated to the African National Congress Women's League were instead registered in the names of her adult children. According to an investigation published on 2 April 2026 by Daily Maverick, the two BAIC Beijing X55 vehicles valued at roughly R400,000 to R500,000 each were registered in April 2024 to Nanilethu Tolashe and Kanyisa Tolashe. Neither Tolashe nor the Chinese embassy responded to requests for comment at the time of publication. Alleged Foreign Drug Kingpin Arrested After Police Seize R19.3 Million Worth of Cocaine, Mandrax and Other Drugs in Major East London Operation Eastern Cape police have arrested a 47-year-old foreign national suspected of being a drug distribution kingpin following a major operation in East London.
