This is seriously impressive. At just 20 years old, Didier Fuentes isn’t just making the Opening Day roster — he’s forcing his way onto it with dominance. Nine innings, zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and 17 strikeouts is unreal. That’s not just good, that’s elite-level performance. The Braves clearly saw something special, and if he keeps this up, Fuentes could quickly become one of the most exciting young arms in the bullpen.

Didier Fuentes has made the Atlanta Braves’ Opening Day roster and at 20 years old will be part of their bullpen — and he earned it. Fuentes’ numbers this spring: nine innings, no hits, no runs, no walks, 17 strikeouts. He was too good for the Braves to deny and is a huge talent.

These march madness upsets are so crazy because for every time a low seed wins on a crazy upset there are like 10 more instances where the higher seed just wakes up and remembers that they are so much better than them and stomps them into oblivion in the second half

@nicktyrell @BryanHoch You’re not wrong for thinking that way. But Yanks in win now mode (judge/cole/stanton) all getting toward the end of their careers. Need to build the best team and that means having that kid come out the pen

@Slyfly129 @BryanHoch I agree and think he’d be maybe one of the best relievers instantly but I don’t want to make the same mistake with him as we did with Joba, I want him to have a place in the rotation where he can just be a pitcher. He’s still super young he has plenty of time
