ゴールデンウィークにもかかわらず、吹田市の私の事務所に医療関係者の皆さまがお越しくださり、「片頭痛対策」について貴重なお話をくださいました。片頭痛に悩む方は約840万人、患者は女性が男性の約3.6倍と多く、特に20代〜40代に多いとのことです。市販薬で対応する方が多い一方、使用過多により慢性化を招いている実情や、片頭痛を契機にうつ症状を引き起こす可能性、さらに子どもの片頭痛が周囲に理解されにくく対応が遅れがちである点など、重要な課題を共有しました。現場の声を踏まえ、予防・適正治療・周知の強化を柱に、政策へと具体化してまいります。打ち合わせの合間には、落選中に毎朝差し入れをくださっていた方とも久々に再会し、改めて支えていただいたご恩に感謝の思いを強くいたしました。
