Mais uma vez eu vou falar. Podem odiar o Babu. Podem criticá-lo. Ele merece. Mas exaltar a Ivy para diminuir o Babu, por favor, não. O que aconteceu no BBB20 foi um caso claro de Racismo. Foi inclusive assumido pela própria Ivy e tenho certeza que ela evoluiu muito desde a sua participação no BBB20 e tirou várias lições sobre o assunto. Quando alguém diz que a Ivy foi inocentada ou que está votando no Babu pela Ivy, é o mesmo que dizer que tá liberado o racismo como forma de punição. E isso é inadmissível, seja na vida real ou num programa de tv. É importante refletir sobre isso. O Babu cometeu diversos erros e tudo isso precisa ser assumido e repensado por ele aqui fora. Da mesma forma que a Ivy teve oportunidade de rever tudo, evoluir e seguir a vida, Babu merece (e precisa) ter a mesma oportunidade.

Okay, I'm going to say something that will probably touch a nerve, but hey, as Fezco said in Euphoria: Sometimes, you have to hurt people's feelings. I've been part of the Polin fandom since 2022, and ever since I discovered it, I realized that if there's one thing that characterizes us, it's our obsession with our ship. We worship Polin like it's our religion, and besides, we're all kind, supportive, funny and incredibly horny. We focus on showering love on our favorite couple, creating millions of edits and fanfictions. However, ever since they announced that Colin and Penelope would be the protagonists of season 3, the hatred has been palpable. The attacks were always the same: that Colin was ugly or that Penelope was a fat ugly bitch. Penelope and Colin have been criticized for the most ridiculous things imaginable, to the point that after reading a thousand comments about it, it's clear that the fans who hate the couple have a personal issue with them, especially with Penelope, and I think I know what it is. Girls like Penelope are abundant all over the world, and a large part of the fandom that arrived in season 3 is because they identified with her because at some point in their lives they felt like the ugly one and the outcast. And I'm almost certain, and I'd bet my head on it, that the girls who hate Penelope and keep criticizing her do so because they can't stand the idea that a woman like her can have the handsome man of her dreams and everything she wants. A woman who isn't thin or popular, but an outcast who only has herself and her intellect to get ahead. How many women like that are there in the world? Millions, and I'm almost certain that the women who hate Penelope so fervently are probably real-life bullies whose victims are always girls like Penelope. And don't come at me with the silly arguments of "Penelope ruined Marina" or "Penelope wrote this in Whistledown" or "Penelope did that," because I think that by now we all know the truth, and that is that these are excuses to justify a hatred so visceral that for it to be so visceral it is because Penelope's existence touches a wound or sensitive nerve in some people that their first instinct is to seek to destroy her at all costs. Because I assure you, ladies, the reason you hate something or someone so much is because that person or thing is a constant reminder of something that deeply affects you emotionally, and that's why it's unbearable. I may not like a character and say so openly, give my reasons and everything, but I'm not going to obsess over hating him or her every time I see him or her because he o she doesn't affect me at all, he's o she's just unpleasant and that's it. But Penelope gets criticized for everything: that her body is too big, that her decisions are terrible, that red lipstick makes her look like a whore, that her sex scenes are awkward. It's almost like an obsession with the character, as if Penelope were the Ramsey Bolton of Bridgerton, but without justification for the hatred directed towards her, because that motherfucker did absolutely despicable things, and these were evidenced in Game of Thrones so it makes sense that the public repudiates and hates him. But this constant persecution of Penelope and Colin, as if it were a witch hunt, is because, again, both of them, especially Penelope, affect you on a deep emotional level that you will never openly admit because if you do it, you would have to face your own inner demon that is there waiting for you to turn around and look it in the face. Again, ladies, visceral hatred towards something or someone has its roots in a deep emotional wound, and at this moment the question I ask myself is: What is it?
