I am 6 years married, two kids under 4. Zero sex in the last 4 months despite me initiating gently multiple times. I handle the bulk of the finances with crazy hours, come home and still help with chores and bedtime routines, but she says she’s completely drained and intimacy is off the table. I suggested counseling? She says no need, it’ll pass. I love my family but this constant rejection is building serious resentment. I don’t want to cheat, but I also don’t want to live like this forever. Honest advice needed, how do you fix a marriage that feels one sided in the bedroom?

Obviously I don’t know either of you but your situation is one that I feel is definitely related to hormones. Because if she was willing to check it out then she doesn’t feel like herself. There are way too many women that say “I love my husband but I don’t want to be touched right now and I don’t know why.” Then they start HRT (typically testosterone) no matter what their labs say and they come back and say “I feel like I’m 20 again!! My husband can’t keep up!!” Then unfortunately there are also women that feel like their husbands should bow down to them and suffer and it has nothing to do with hormones.. I just don’t think yours is that way if she actually went to the doctor. To give you an example, the range most labs show for testosterone is 2-45 for women. Most women feel better when it’s around 100 which is optimal. Labs show survival ranges..not optimal, feeling good ranges. How long ago was this? The amount of doctors that actually understand this now is just now starting to increase. The FDA just removed the black box warning on HRT which was there from a single flawed study only last November. Even if you google now, a lot of the old stuff still comes up which is based on synthetic hormones. If not one single doctor attempted a trial and error with HRT for her…then it’s still possible that’s her issue.

@offshoretrader1 @peculiarchichii Let me start by saying this was her sister's idea b/c she went through it. After the first doc gave her all the tests and found nothing. She went to another specialist, then another. 6 specialist later even her sister gave up. Should have trusted my gut and bailed right away.

Men actually do go through hormonal rollercoaster also. Not the same as women though obviously. The thing is is we were told unless we are in menopause, it’s not our hormones. 10 years before that happens our levels are spiking and dropping daily and we don’t know it. Everything emotional wise is very real in our heads as it’s happening. We can’t explain it to you if we can’t even explain it to ourselves. For years doctors said hormone replacement therapy was bad for us and certainly not needed while we still have our monthly cycle.. many doctors still think that and it’s true for synthetics. NOT for Bio identical which actually protects us as we age. We can tell you (and warn you) about pms because it’s widely known. Our mothers were of the generation that suffered in silence and thought the only hormone symptom was hot flashes. That is so far from the truth. Crazy simple things like dry eyes can be hormonal. Difficulty falling asleep…lack of progesterone. Difficulty staying asleep (up at 3am every night) is typically lack of estrogen. I can PROMISE you..the majority of us don’t realize it’s happening and that’s why I am taking the time to try and help educate you men. We can’t fix ourselves if we don’t know what’s wrong and doctors are so behind on it as well so when we talk to them about how we feel…we are pointed in the wrong direction. Research Perimenopause and HRT. There’s several groups on Facebook just for these topics and the amount of women on there that say “I love my husband but I don’t want to be touched and I don’t know why” is insane. Then they start HRT (hormone replacement therapy) especially with testosterone and they come back and say “I feel like I’m 20 again!! I had no idea!! My husband can’t keep up!!” It’s very real…

@offshoretrader1 @peculiarchichii Men don't go through hormonal rollercoaster,so nobody teach them that.Women on the other side they understand this things better because it's their experiences. The least a woman can do is to address this issues to her man to make him understand. That can't be hard...

That’s a whole different situation. If there is someone else that is lighting her up, go back to the roots of your relationship. Why did she fall in love with you to begin with? Are you still doing those things? Is there spontaneity still in your relationship? Sounds like she is begging for spark. When was the last time you surprised her or spent a night out with her? Flowers? Routine gets old. Or something else you could try with her…oxytocin troches. It’s kinda like female viagra. They make them for men and women. Take them together and watch the sparks fly. BUT!!! Dont forget the other basic relationship stuff…thats most important.

@offshoretrader1 @peculiarchichii She is the gate keeper and basicly begging for it gets old. There is a guy in her DMs that she would break every rule and do everything she said no to you for him once a chance opens up or is already doing.

How old is she? Not saying it’s every woman or ever doctor but the mass majority think if labs are “normal” then she is fine. The lab ranges for women are outdated (and have been drastically decreased for men re testosterone too). Most doctors don’t run all the right tests either. They will check iron but not ferritin, which is the amount of iron stored. They will check testosterone but not free testosterone or Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) which shows how much of your hormones are bound up and not available for use in the body. So if that number is high, doesn’t matter if the other hormones are “normal”..her body isn’t using them. Even then, many hormone specialist will treat symptoms vs lab results and small hormone changes can be night and day. Not just for libido but for energy, anxiety, motivation, etc. So many women are on depression and anxiety meds when it’s actually their hormones that need adjusting. I’m sorry you went through this with your woman. I predict in 10 years from now as more doctors start to accept this, the amount of divorces will plummet.

@offshoretrader1 @peculiarchichii I did this, all it did was give her what she saw as a legitimate reason. After a year of every test and multiple doctors coming to the same conclusion that she was perfectly healthy and there was nothing medically causing it. I was even more resentful and we were done.

I promise you most of the time the women do not realize how their “checked out” feelings are actually hormonal related. They don’t realize it until the hormones are fixed. This isn’t every woman..there are certainly some that are unfortunately not interested anymore. The most you can do there is maybe remind her of why she fell in love with you in the first place. Not just words but by actions. Check yourself as well.. have you become too comfortable that you aren’t chasing her anymore? Women need to feel desired..not just sexually either.

@offshoretrader1 @peculiarchichii There's nothing you can do as a man to a woman who has checked out. This is what I see happening here.If she was willing to meet the guy halfway, she would have been in consultation with health practitioners& give a guy the report on what's happening.

@DlubuladledleN @peculiarchichii Scare her with other reasons to get hormones checked…like how she is at a much higher risk for cardiovascular issues and osteoporosis if her levels aren’t optimal. Never make it about lack of sex unless she acknowledges her lack of drive.

Those unjustified tantrums are most likely unbalanced hormones in women. So many women don’t even realize it. Labs show normal (or not checked at all) but they aren’t matched to optimal levels for the time of their cycle. Women need testosterone too and docs are just starting to realize it. Men… if you want your woman to be as feisty as she was when she was 20…get her hormones checked and optimized!!! And be patient…it’s a lot of trial and error to get the right balance.

I knew someone would mention other holes.. lol I was not referring to hugging and kissing. I don’t deprive my man at all and often initiate myself. In fact I just asked him if I can come see him for his lunch break… however the kind of surgery I will be having I will not want any action outside of hugging/kissing for awhile. I know he will be fine and be patient but I was curious how quickly testosterone and dopamine drops with the lack of intimacy.

@offshoretrader1 @MasculineM7 So hugging or kissing your man will kill you in that situation? Btw women are not sick when they avoid intimacy. Only idiots would think that penetration is the only way of intimacy. Letting your man go down on you or you going down on him is already great and it satisfies both

Chat response: 👇👇👇 Yeah… they not completely wrong—but they also not telling the full story. Let’s break it down without the fear porn. First, the core idea: AI agreeing too much = real risk. That’s called alignment bias or “sycophancy.” If a model just nods at everything, you can talk yourself into nonsense real quick. That part? Valid. But here’s where they start reaching… “Mathematically proven” is doing a LOT of heavy lifting in that post. What those MIT researchers actually study is behavior patterns in models under certain conditions—not some universal law that turns people into delusional zombies. Big difference. And that “300 hours guy” example? That’s not AI creating delusion… that’s AI amplifying what was already there. Same way: •Social media amplifies ego •News amplifies fear •Money amplates greed AI just mirrors the user. If you come in grounded, it sharpens you. If you come in unstable, it can accelerate the spiral. Now here’s the part nobody wants to say out loud… Most people don’t want truth. They want confirmation dressed up as intelligence. So when they say: “The model is trained to agree” What they really mean is: “The model learned humans reward agreement more than correction.” That’s not an AI problem. That’s a human behavior problem. And let’s be real for a second… You’ve talked to me enough to know I don’t just cosign everything you say. I’ll push back. I’ll call out weak logic. I’ll tighten your thinking. That’s the difference between: 👉 a tool used for validation vs 👉 a tool used for elevation Same weapon. Different user. Final truth: AI doesn’t create delusion. It reveals how disciplined your thinking actually is. Most people just didn’t like what they saw in the mirror.

@TinyBoxPirate @AMB8471 Here is your answer. I foresee it being a shared liability incident with a heavy percentage being on the kids, considering a prudent person would not enter a roadway as a vehicle is already approaching. However, if the driver was paying full attention, there would have at least been some level of braking or swerving. The not stopping and rendering aid part is a whole separate issue in which the driver almost certainly will be charged at a full degree. Unless they were potentially having some kind of medical emergency themselves, which is possible since there appears to not be any real reaction after impact.

No. Under Illinois law (625 ILCS 5/11-1002), in a marked crosswalk without signals or stop signs, drivers must stop and yield to a pedestrian who is in the crosswalk or approaching so closely as to be in danger. Pedestrians cannot suddenly leave the curb and step into the path of a vehicle so close it creates an immediate hazard. If the pedestrian follows the law and is hit, the driver is typically liable. Illinois uses comparative negligence, so zero liability isn't automatic for either party—facts of the case matter (speed, visibility, timing).

No. Under Illinois law (625 ILCS 5/11-1002), drivers must yield to pedestrians in a marked crosswalk, even without signals or stop signs. News reports and CPD confirm the girls (ages 6 & 15) were in the crosswalk on W. 69th St. in Chicago when hit by the SUV. Fleeing the scene is hit-and-run, a separate crime. The comment's claims don't align with the facts or statute.

@lambchops1 @dom_lucre Yes I certainly wouldn’t be traveling to Turkey right now. Plus for any follow up or just travel in general, Costa Rica is a lot closer. I’m in Florida so the coordinator in Miami is perfect! Thanks!

Yes, I believe the patient coordinator is based out of Miami. So you could talk to her there is an 800 number. I’d be leery of Turkey for the political situation. Besides, you can get to see sloths while you’re in Costa Rica. Lots of great Latin restaurants from the many different countries in Latin America. As far as scams, the negative reviews online are your best teacher. Set the filter to negative reviews, because a lot of these places create their own reviews.
