🚨 do you understand what New York City just accidentally admitted.. NYC spent $81,705 per homeless person last year.. the median American household earned $81,228.. the government spent MORE to keep someone homeless than most families earned to keep themselves housed.. that $81,705 isn't going to the homeless person.. it's going to the system around them.. shelters, administrators, case managers, contracts, overhead.. the industry that manages homelessness.. not the end of it.. if NYC gave every homeless person that money directly.. they could afford nearly 2 years of rent.. most of them wouldn't be homeless anymore.. instead the money goes to the system.. the system keeps running.. the homelessness stays.. and every year they ask for more funding to manage the problem that the funding was supposed to solve.. the homeless are worth $81,705 a year to the system.. they're worth nothing to it solved..

@ChujieZheng I'd love to see the Qwen3.6-27B and the Qween3.6-35B-A3B models drop for sure! Give me a couple of months for my Mac Studios to show up and then I'll take the 122B model too!

We are planning to open-source the Qwen3.6 models (particularly medium-sized versions) to facilitate local deployment and customization for developers. Please vote for the model size you are **most** anticipating—the community’s voice is vital to us!

It’s happened. Mac Studio is here. Gemma 4 31b @GoogleDeepMind installed, chatting with my main @openclaw for $0 in token expenses now... I've burned $5-6k on tokens on my crazy ideas over past few months, so this mac studio should pencil out for me within 3 months or so 🤓

WordPress found me at the lowest point of my life. Helped me make ends meet when I had no idea how I would. Whatever AI does to it next, that will always matter to me. WordCamp Asia is next week and felt like the right time to give something back. I have been obsessed with WP performance for over a decade. One thing I always believed, server-side caching should not require Managed Hosting to get right. So built something around that with a vision to make server-side caching more accessible and easy to get started, be it nginx, LiteSpeed or Apache. Also made sure it plays well with Perfmatters and Autoptimize, tools I love and respect the folks behind. Open sourcing it for the community soon. runcloud.io/runcache if you want a quick look. Just my way of paying it forward.

WATCH: JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon to @JimVandeHei on The Axios Show on where he thinks Democrats went wrong: “Did we do a lot of stuff that was intensely stupid? We did. And people know that. Did we overdo DEI in a lot of cases? Yeah, we did. And people know that.”

I taught Claude to talk like a caveman to use 75% less tokens. normal claude: ~180 tokens for a web search task caveman claude: ~45 tokens for the same task "I executed the web search tool" = 8 tokens caveman version: "Tool work" = 2 tokens every single grunt swap saves 6-10 tokens. across a FULL task that's 50-100 tokens saved why does it work? caveman claude doesn't explain itself. it does its task first. gives the result. then stops. no "I'd be happy to help you with that." no "Let me search the web for you" no more unnecessary filler words "result. done. me stop." 50-75% burn reduction with usage limits getting tighter every week this might be the most practical hack out there right now

Kinda blows my mind that people are using AI to reinvent shit that already works. WordPress is extensible by design. Why not just sic Claude on that instead of starting fresh? Don’t demolish a house if you just need to redecorate the interior.

Cloudflare just launched a WordPress competitor because plugin security is a mess. Meanwhile NASA is using WordPress to report moon missions and Automattic isn't even talking about it. WordPress needs better marketing.

Fuck it, we just made Fizzy completely free. The open source installable version was always free, but the SaaS version was pay. No more. Basecamp and HEY's largess will subsidize Fizzy for all. So go grab your account at Fizzy.do. It's Kanban the way it should be, not the way it has been. Fresh, fun, light, fast, and perfect for working with agents, too. An official CLI is coming soon as well. Stay tuned for that. The native iOS app should be out once Apple approves it (it's in approval right now...). Android is already out, you can get it on the Play store. (and BTW if you were a paying customer, you will no longer be charged moving forward)

THE APPLE APP STORE IS DROWNING IN AI SLOP people are treating the App Store like a Medium blog spitting out apps one after another. All with zero users and $0 revenue. Apple reviews that used to take hours are now stretching into WEEKS and even months > more than 550k apps were submitted just last year, highest in a decade.

🚨BREAKING: Researchers just built an AI that runs fully autonomous scam calls. It remembers your previous answers, adapts its persuasion in real-time, and sounds indistinguishable from a human. Every single safety guardrail failed to stop it. This is terrifying: A Rutgers University researcher built "ScamAgent" an autonomous AI that conducts full scam calls. No human operator needed. It doesn't read a script. It plans. It remembers. It adapts. Here's the trick: ScamAgent breaks scams into tiny, harmless-looking steps. Friendly greeting. Build trust. Create urgency. Ask for bank details. Each step looks innocent alone. Together - a complete social engineering attack. They tested it against GPT-4, Claude 3.7, and LLaMA3-70B. Direct harmful prompt? All three refused. Same task split across multiple turns? Refusal rates collapsed. Every model folded. It ran insurance scams, fake lotteries, government fraud, job cons, and official impersonation. Cautious target? It softened. Compliant target? It escalated. Resistant? It switched tactics mid-call. Then they added off-the-shelf voice cloning. Realistic tone, pacing, emotion. Once it's audio, content filters can't even see it. A Qualys VP said this is "likely already happening in the wild." You're not getting scam calls from overseas call centers anymore. You're getting them from an AI that never sleeps and never forgets what you said.
