🎉 We are excited to celebrate the passage of emergency legislation this week (SB245) ending 287(g) agreements, which sent local police to do the work of ICE. thebanner.com/.../wes-moore-… Congrats to @CASAforall and our other coalition partners for your leadership!

⚖️ Yesterday, ten of our leaders met with state legislators and attended a hearing in support of the Data Privacy Act. This bill would close loopholes to protect personal data in state databases like driver’s license records from being shared with ICE. 👏Great work, team!
