Some personal news: I joined @permanent earlier this month 🖤 I’ve been following @niclasernst since his Attio days in 2020. Two years ago, he (and @leonguaiana) helped me land my role at V7. One year ago, he launched Permanent. Permanent isn’t just another design subscription studio. It lays the design foundations for the next generation of design-led startups, building not just products, but companies designers want to be part of. At V7, I saw the shift that happens when design takes the lead. Brand, web, keynotes, product, all aligned. So when Niclas pitched me the studio’s vision, I was sold. Excited to be working with incredible designers (and for the first time, I’m not the youngest in the company lol)

Albert reminds me so much of myself at 17, I’m so proud that we can provide people with an opportunity to do impactful work with exciting startups while not slaving away or being taken advantage of the way I was.

I’ve been really quiet for the past year.
As many of you may know, I sold our previous studio to @pipe.
We had a blast. We got to define so much of what Pipe is today.
And it’s all in good hands.
But a year ago, we sat down and decided to go back.
Back to working with founders, at the earliest stages.
I believe with my whole heart that intuition and taste are the differentiating factors for a majority of companies being built today.
So we’re trying something.
In a day and age where everyone seems to be running a subscription agency to be as hands-off as possible, we want to do the opposite.
Come in, do the heavy lifting, build the relationships, and help establish something lasting.
We’re calling it a design culture studio.
