A classroom has typically 37 kids so that card will only cover $20 per child. For the entire school year. And the teachers can only use this card at Staples, an ally of Ford’s. They can’t use it at say Amazon to get better prices or even Dollarama. THIS IS NOT SUPPORT.
Paul Calandra@PaulCalandra

$750 directly to elementary homeroom teachers for classroom supplies. The opposition calls that a problem. For teachers, it’s support.

We already have co-operative and government subsidized grocery stores in Canada. You'd know if you ever spent time around workers because farmers use the Otter Co-Op. Prices are the same, it reaches remote areas and no one dies If it's communist then Canada is already communist
Andrew Scheer@AndrewScheer

Images from the last time someone thought it would be a good idea for the government to run grocery stores: Breadlines, and empty shelves. But I’m sure this time will be different, right comrades?

Israel doesn't distinguish between money for ‘offensive' and 'defensive' weapons, so neither should we.

More war crimes by Netanyahu’s Israel. Yet Canada’s Liberals refused even to ensure Canadian arms aren’t used to commit them. The world must impose sanctions immediately. It’s the only legal and moral position.

Fidel Castro gave a speech about Che Guevara on October 18, 1967, in Plaza de la Revolución after Che was killed in Bolivia. It was a public memorial where many people came to honor him. In the speech, Castro talked about Che’s personality, describing him as brave, disciplined, and fully devoted to the revolutionary cause. He explained that Che was not only a fighter but also a man with strong moral values who believed deeply in justice and equality. Castro said that they did not come to say goodbye to Che, but to welcome him, meaning that Che’s ideas and example would continue to live among the people. He wanted to show that death does not end a person’s influence, especially someone who sacrificed everything for a cause. The speech was meant to inspire others to follow Che’s path and to stay committed to the revolution. It also helped unite the Cuban people during a difficult moment and turned their sadness into strength and motivation.
