How do you even compare this guy to Reiss Nelson? Apart from availability, this guy has got nothing on Nelson. ESR, Nelson, Vieira and Nwaneri will all do better than this guy in that position. Senseless decisions is Arteta’s biggest problem.

Emile Snith Rowe’s best return at arsenal was 10 league goals in a season playing as a midfielder in less than 25 games. Havertz best season at arsenal, he scored 13 goals and he played mainly as a striker.

@eliavot_ Going into the season with Martinelli and trossard as LW options. Forcing havertz into the squad anytime he’s available( signing him was his biggest mistake), signing Madueke, signing norgaard and not trusting him esp. when zubimendi has been dross. He’s mismanaged the squad!

@py_appiah Be honest with yourself, without the benefit of hindsight, would you say the squad on paper at the start of the season wasn’t good enough to win? The manager has made several mistakes, especially in the last month, but if you are being analytical, this goes beyond him.

I am not ruling out a result against city though. We are very capable once Arteta sets them up right, plays the right squad and the players actually turn up like they want it. City isn’t all that.

The good thing is that we are going to play City. Our destiny is still in our hands. Go to City, beat them and we are back in the driving seat. But the reality is that as long as fearful Arteta is still the manager, we will go there not to lose and we will still lose.
