Well yea and the men are the actual bad bitches of nature. The males have extravagant patterns and such to pull a woman. The lions have manes and the peacocks have beautiful feathers. It’s like for humans the role reversed. The women are the pretty one and the men protect when in nature the men are the pretty ones and the women protect.

I think about this ALL THE TIME.
Men talk about being protectors - but in nature, it’s actually the women/females that do the protecting…

@rakeening @rugratsupreme @LegendaryTrell That's in a way, the point; queerness is about a rejection of societal norms or the performance needed to be accepted socially; those norms are determined by whiteness

@_talkSHITE @MattCharleto i was like ok but i really needed that hand open 😂

@wondrwy @rugratsupreme @LegendaryTrell So I don’t see queerness as inherently rooted in whiteness, but the label and the way it’s been shaped in modern discourse definitely are. That’s the distinction I was making.

@wondrwy @rugratsupreme @LegendaryTrell At the same time, gender diversity and same-sex relationships existed in a lot of cultures long before that. They just weren’t called “queer” and didn’t always follow the same lens.
