Today I listened to @GregoireGambatt and @pacovilletard validate one of my most contrarian takes…
6 months ago, I was convinced there was a shift happening in the tech industry:
• We need more PMs
• We need fewer devs
There’s now huge tension and a probable shortage of good product talent.
I’m pretty sure tech startups will be exclusively composed of {1 PM + 1 dev} squads in the near future.

At Focus Tree, we have 2 PMs dedicated to feeding specs to our 10x engineer. This trend will continue as AI dev tools keep improving.

If I were to build Focus Tree in 2025 I’d probably pick native and have claude reimplement the base iOS implementation in native Android.
I love flutter, but when you try to build top 1% product, it’s a bit limiting

Native vs RN vs Flutter - If you want a fully native feel, go native - If you want cross-platform and still feel "native", go with React Native - If you want cross-platform and you have your own design and don't care about looking native, go with Flutter I like to have a fully unified look and my own design, so I build with Flutter + I'm really fast with it due to my experience, hot reload etc
