Noelia Castillo Ramos is 25. After a life marked by abuse and sexual assault, and a suicide attempt that left her paraplegic, she is scheduled for euthanasia. And this is where we are. A wounded woman, in pain and despair, is told death is a solution. We call it compassion. It is not. It is surrender. A culture that cannot carry the broken will eventually eliminate them. That is not dignity. That is despair dressed up as mercy. The defense of life must be wider. It cannot stop at the unborn. It must stand for the violated, the disabled, the suffering, the forgotten. Otherwise, we simply change who we abandon. And let us be honest: doctors are skilled, but they are not moral authorities. The same hands that heal can also be trained to end life. Skill is not wisdom. Noelia did not need death. She needed protection, love, constancy, and meaning. Life belongs to God. We do not restore dignity by consenting to death, but by refusing to abandon the wounded.

MARCH 26, 2026 — The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) is considering the glorification of Fr. Seraphim Rose of Platina, potentially making him its first U.S.-born saint, Abp. Gabriel of Montreal and Canada, who heads the church’s canonization commission, told the Union of Orthodox Journalists of America.
“We have discussed this possibility and created a special commission to study the issue, collect materials, and gather accounts of miracles associated with him,” His Eminence said. “If approved, he would become the first U.S.-born saint canonized by ROCOR.”

25-year-old Noelia Castillo Ramos is scheduled to be the first victim of euthanasia in Spain due to depression. She was gang-raped in state care in 2022, after which she attempted suicide, which left her paraplegic. Tomorrow Spain will be assisting her suicide. Pray for angels to intervene and that she changes her mind.

Hands down, @JayDyer, who I've debated twice:
both times Jay reached across the gap the moment the debate ended and apologized for any heat-of-the-moment overaggressions, then bought my entire large family a meal (both times we hung out and had fun for multi-hours);
at those meals, Jay and his wife @JamieLHanshaw (who watched movies in the green room with a Gordon child during one of the debates) were each exceedingly kind to my kids and wife;
also, Jay regularly expresses a generosity of time (first time we ever met, Jay and Jamie drove hours to meet me out at @ElliottHulse's house);
also, generosity of resources via unsolicited sharing of his connections, rather than just asking for my connections.
I have every confidence that @Trent_Horn is a good-hearted family man who loves Jesus, but tbh he needs to learn the sort of magnanimity which makes friends out of foes: at our debates, he never expressed any species of any of Jay's generosities. In fact, I brought him a signed copy of my book (the exchange of which is standard) and he left it there at the studio lmao! I've invited Trent and his wife to meals and onto my show, for couples discussion with my wife, and he responded that his wife didn't trust strangers or something (this was only shortly before she made skits mocking said "strangers": myself, my brother, my wife). To be fair, last time in Dallas, we had plans to get a friendly coffee, but his family got the flu. I'm 100% down to make this happen eventually, hopefully with Steph and Laura present. Burying the hatchet is what Christian men do. But I'm never sure that's what he wants: communion with "mean" men with myself or Jay, which presents a striking irony.
Perhaps Trent ought to begin looking at Jay as an exemplar of generosity, instead of pettily exaggerating a single flaw as if it means more than it does

What’s the difference between an 18 year old who’s kinda silly and all over the place and immature and doesn’t really have marriage in her mind yet and the 26 year old who is ready to get married and is still pure and healthy and is perfectly suitable.
