I know multiple people who still insist track pads suck and nobody wants them, but I was sold basically the instant I first used them. For first person games they're a massive improvement over joysticks.

Youtube started to recommend me vids I had no interest in, and autoplay would just constantly go to the SAME video I didn't want to watch no matter what I chose to watch first, even when I set that vid to "not interested" it STILL pushed it. Autoplay off 4ever.

@lemoce @beeeemooooo Hotshots literally has laps and a track selection. Outrun is a timer based arcade racing game with a nonstop road that transitions till the end. The developer being the same has nothing to do with them playing the same. That's an absurd claim when the devs at Sumo have changed.

Why are there no racing games today that feel like these sega games? Every arcade game today feels hefty and much less responsive, not to mention the massive drift speed loss, and the collision system is made to make sure you’re always in the middle of the action

This is still the best arena fighter I've ever played. True shame Square Enix never bothered to bring it back, and an even bigger shame that Dissidia NT is nothing like it, nor is it even close to as good.

Dream's Longest Day@Dreamboum

Dissidia Final Fantasy still holds up today, and it still has some of the best singleplayer content for a fighting game. We had it so good back then 🥲

The Game Awards don’t deserve to be taken seriously because they don’t take video games seriously. From its presentation to its overvaluing of games as a “cinematic storytelling medium” it represents the pinnacle of “people ashamed to be working on games instead of movies”
