The past 18 months as Israel’s Consul General in New York were fulfilling and rewarding, but following today’s developments, it is now time for me to join the fight for Israel's future to ensure it remains a beacon of democracy and freedom in the world. Here is the letter I sent:

@Jumbosaur Usually i've only seen this kind of thing at far lower end things though. The sort of local club where annual membership is $30, a meal is $30 and membership gets ~10% off . I think Uber is doing this with their amazon-prime like "Uber Pass" stuff. Same thing as a 6k membership?

@robsc I think it's that last one, called "price discrimination" in economics.

A certain super fancy SF restaurant started selling $6k memberships, where I think the main benefit is being able to book a table and day a year out. I'm not doing it but I'm curious if this is the future of top-notch restaurants.

Next question in “How do I live in a house?” We knocked down the wasps nest but they still keep coming back. I’m trying peppermint oil and considering one of those decoy nests. Bee allergy, so coexisting isn’t really an option. I’d like to avoid things that are toxic. Thoughts?
