HAPPY WEEKEND The sunshine is out all week long as I'm tracking another stretch of high pressure. By the way, October 1st is on Wednesday! I am tracking a return to fall temperatures plus I'm watching a system in the tropics which may have some impacts on parts of the country.

TIED RECORD LOW Dayton made it down to 48 this morning! Those winds relaxed enough to drop most of us into the 40s early this morning! It is rare for Dayton to drop into the 40s in August too.. the last time we were at or below 48 in Dayton in August was back in 2013!

TRACKING SOME RAIN This cluster of heavy downpours almost looks to miss us this morning just to our west! Nothing severe around 5:30am but I'll keep watching this as it tracks to the southeast!

CHECK THIS OUT The Waning Crescent Moon in the top left only about 2% illuminated this Wednesday morning (New Moon soon)! That little dot to the right of the moon is Jupiter! Break out the telescopes!!

THE GOOD NEWS As of 2:30pm Saturday, no storms to our west are severe! There is a flood advisory along with heavy downpours and frequent lightning though. Let's hope this trend stays below severe criteria... the window these storms are over us is about 4-9pm!
