genuine problem in rocket league I have played 8 placement matches in 1s, and it takes me an avg of 10 mins to find a game, 5 of those games have been against bots thats r pretty close to unbeatable especially if ur not super locked in, not sure what to do 🫠

Illegal aliens that pay property taxes and sales taxes benefit from those taxes when they send their kids to public schools, when they use public parks and libraries, and when they use roads. And they do use them. Most illegal aliens get paid in cash under the table so they're not paying federal or state income taxes. The only way an illegal alien would be paying federal income, social security, Medicare, and Unemployment taxes is if they've committed identity theft because by definition an illegal alien is not authorized to work here and therefore would not have a SS number. (So there's another crime illegal aliens commit.) If it bothers you that illegal aliens cannot enroll in social security, etc perhaps they should enter the country legally. No one who is not a US citizen is entitled to work here or have a Visa from the US just because they feel they're entitled to it. US residency is a privilege--not a right. And by the way illegal aliens send billions in remittances (tax free) to their home countries. Mexicans alone sent $64.745 billion back to Mexico in 2024.

I don’t care where you stand politically, and I know this is a RocketLeague account; I need to get this off my chest: Trump is actively dismantling our government and our government agencies through executive order after executive order. It is a terrifying time to be in America. Decades of research is being white washed. Thousands of federal employees are being terminated, many of whom are the primary breadwinners of their families. Entire agencies are being shut down. All in the order of a couple weeks. If you are not terrified by what the next 4 years may hold, you need to open your eyes. If you have yet to be directly impacted by any of these changes, you WILL be. It’s not a matter of IF, it’s WHEN. I happen to live down the street from the CDC headquarters in Atlanta. Entire departments are frozen, with researchers forced to go into the office and NOT work for 8 hours a day. Decades of research on everything from contraception and LGBT rights, to vaccinations are being scrubbed from the public record. Our nations top researches and their life work are being wiped clean, solely because it doesn’t fit a certain agenda. That is TERRIFYING. Trumps actions are already going to set the US back YEARS, and all of which have been done through executive orders. Our government exists with checks and balances for a reason, and if you don’t believe Trump is abusing his power I pray that you have a change of mind. Trump is not an expert in any of these fields, yet is making catastrophic changes to numerous agencies and departments. He is disregarding science and the nations top researchers to push his extremist agenda. Please stand up for what you believe in. Stand in the face of hate and be vocal about yourself and your beliefs. Stand up for your neighbors, your peers, your friends and family. Check in with loved ones, and let underrepresented minorities, federal employees, immigrants, and whoever else impacted know that you see their struggles, and you support them. I’m so sorry that we all have to go through this right now.

Undocumented immigrants pay property taxes and sales taxes. Federal payroll taxes are taken from their wages, and they pay income tax. Their taxes go towards funding Medicare, Social Security and Unemployment Insurance, yet undocumented immigrants are not eligible to enroll in or receive benefits from these programs.

Genuinely I cannot blame you for who you voted for being so young. My politically ideology out of highschool and out of college were drastically different. Meeting people of diverse backgrounds, experiencing other cultures, traveling the world, and getting a world class education shifted my views on a lot of topics. When I was 17, I’d probably be replying the same thing to this tweet. Your political views may change, or they may not, either is fine; I just encourage you to have an open mind and try new things in early adulthood — the world has a lot to experience and a lot of people to learn from.

The majority of undocumented immigrants are paying taxes just like you and I do, yet do not receive many of the same benefits that we as citizens do. Just food for thought. The average cost per migrant detainee in an ICE facility is $54,750 per year. Conversely, the cost to detainee a migrant at Guantanamo Bay is estimated to be $10-13 million per year. I am all for criminals being held accountable, and for serious crimes I am not against deportation. However, the average illegal alien just trying to make a living and support their family, does not deserve that treatment. They pay taxes, contribute to society, and many hold positions that american citizens would not want to do themselves. I am against using my tax-payer dollars to fund their detainment and deportation.

You can look it up as well, but they have went up in net worth from their 1/2 term(s). Often from lobbying, stocks/bonds, donations, etc.

Just to clarify: I don’t care if you are a Republican, a Democrat, Libertarian, Socialist, etc. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, even if I do not agree with them. This is not a post to attack a specific group of people, rather me venting my frustration with Trumps second term thus far. Unless you are Donald Trump, this post is not aimed at you.

Public health: Trump has no formal education in medicine, epidemiology, public health or related fields. His career as a real estate developer and businessman would not have offered any informal expertise in this area either. International Affairs: Trumps degree from Wharton was in economics. The curriculum did not touch on international relations, geopolitics or diplomacy. Climate: Trump has no formal education in environmental science, climate science, or energy policy. Trump has no training in scientific methods or evidence-based policy making. While this is true of many past presidents, Trump has frequently disregarded expert advice in favor of his instincts or political agenda. Overall, I believe Trumps use of executive orders is undermining our balance of powers. These types of decisions should not be made hastily, or without expert analysis of possible repercussions. Changes to public health, international policy, climate change and energy all should be collaborative efforts. Trump is not an expert. Trump is disregarding experts, and mandating the removal of evidence based research that goes against his agenda. Take a look at the CDC website if you need an example.

This isn’t about Biden. Trust me, I was not a fan of him either. We went from a president who achieved very little to a president who is actively working to undermine democracy. There are things Biden did that I liked, and admittedly there have been a few things Trump has done that I have also liked.
