i really like and respect lewis a lot but the way he's using the whole brake situation to make himself look better just doesn't sit well with me. his solution doesn't even bring better performance, it's just that the car was developed that makes brembo unstable.

So they adapted to suit Lewis s and the first race where they definitely had a chance at pole, they didn’t get pole because of Charles losing confidence with the brakes. Hilarious team. At least when Charles was comfortable he got pole 3 out of 5 years

Now it makes so much sense why Charles didn’t want to immediately try Lewis’s solution. He wanted to push and see whether the problem was specifically related to his driving style in Canada or to the brakes themselves. But after this weekend, he’ll test the Carbon Industries brake discs because he no longer wants to take the risk, it’s becoming dangerous. Anyway, congratulations to Brembo for producing terrible brake discs. The small problem now is that Charles isn’t really familiar with this type of brake disc. He’s always used Brembo, so it will be a bit complicated for him because he’ll have to learn how to work with these new brakes. In any case, we now understand Brembo’s ridiculous statement. And credit to Ferrari for listening to Lewis!!! #F1

You indeed didn't have to wait very long. Hamilton has moved to Carbon Industries discs ever since Japan.
The rest of the braking system, as is the case for most teams on the grid, is supplied and manufactured by Brembo.

according to motorsport italy, rumors have been circulating in the paddock since the japanese gp that lewis is using braking components from Carbon Industrie, the company that supplied for mercedes during his time there. charles, on the other hand, still had brembo braking components, with brembo being the official supplier for ferrari for many years already.
neither ferrari nor the company have ever confirmed this rumour, but charles' comments seem to fit this scenario. the "solution" charles referred to, which is already present on lewis' car, could indeed involve a different supply of brake discs.
