15일 경찰 등에 따르면 서울경찰청 금융범죄수사대는 최근 서울중앙지검에 차가원 대표에 대한 구속영장을 신청했다. 특정경제범죄 가중처벌법상 사기 등 혐의가 적용됐다.
차 대표는 자사 소속 연예인의 지식재산권(IP)을 앞세워 주식회사 노머스에 동업을 제안한 뒤, 242억 원의 선수금을 받고도 실제론 사업을 이행하지 않은 혐의를 받는다. 추가로 받고 있는 50억 원대 전세 계약 관련 사기 혐의까지 적용하면 피해 규모는 300억 원 대에 달한다.
