To warp or not to warp? We've implemented warp jumps in the Astra Protocol 2 beta, this enables near instant travel to another position in the map, for the cost of overheating your reactor and temporarily deactivating ship functions after the jump.

The function was relatively straightforward to implement, so we'd not lose a lot of work if we removed it, would just like to hear people's thoughts. Additionally, if you jump on the beta, you could try it out yourself and let us know. #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame
