@Keviduk At least for me, it denotes the way the menu expands (so vertical would be a drop down whereas horizontal would be an in-line menu) this could possibly be the subconscious bias for users but never seen any official research on it.

Lol ISHTATHUKKU. More kids studied Hindi as their second language in my school than Tamil. People also preferred Sanskrit post 10th compared to Tamil
