ok breaking my silence; yunjin genuinely doesn’t get enough credit for her creative involvement in le sserafim’s music - her hand work that goes beyond songwriting and producing, only to be repaid & mistreated like that by her own label..
for pureflow pt.1, yunjin took time to do 90+ mins 1:1 interviews with each member, evaluate them and even redo them multiple of times to not only get better insights for the theme of their album, but it was important for her to include ALL of the girls’ input & thoughts for it - to accurately represent the real le sserafim.
not only does she have 8/11 songwriting credits on the album (and literally participates on every single album/ep) but yunjin also came up with the whole storyline/lore & idea of “Saki” to connect it to “1-800-hot-n-fun”.
“need your company” was entirely her own song & as the main writer, she most likely also wrote 99% of the song herself (comparing it to her own personal demo) until 13 added their names to the credits.
“irony” was literally created on her days off from work (during her birthday week) because she’s so hardworking and decided to develop herself further by joining a song camp to go out of her comfort zone.
as the company asked for an outro, it was completely yunjin’s own idea to do a recorded conversion for “liminal space”, whose title also derived from her own thoughts that was inspired from being on tour.
for spaghetti, she didn’t “only” come up with the idea of the song and whole album concepts, which she pitched to the company with a google doc herself, but she was the one suggesting their fun content such as the “member switch dance practice”, which ended up going viral. she was the one telling the company to livestream the tokyo dome encore for fearnots to see one of their biggest milestones in their career.
in general, most of their tiktok/reels are even her own ideas and she makes time to edit them herself during her little breaks between schedules.
source music is genuinely lucky to have yunjin, whose work and effort truly goes above the musical aspect of a typical idol.. so how come you give her zero solo schedules or variety shows - when we know damn well she always goes viral for being on them and it increased her brand brand reputation by +31 spots last time? why do you not want to let your artists shine and sabotage them instead? @SOURCEMUSIC
