Always liked Lombardi, even defended him sometimes…but the way he’s trying to hype up this draft is crazy. Worst part is, a bunch of fans taking that same route. You’re not smarter than people that do this for a living. I get being optimistic, but trying argue it was good🥴😂

@splodem You're free to look at the average hit rate for all teams in the NFL and see that the niners aren't the only team that make bad picks. This disingenuous idea only the Niners draft poorly is fans in their feelings. Please tell me how many starters on today's team were drafted?

If fans stop obsessing over draft boards and realize the team uses other factors to determine where they fall on their own private big board then they wouldn't rage and pretend the team is clueless.

Smh look at all 22 starters and look at how many were drafted. That's the point. Busts happen on every team every year. If you can't do all the things it's required of you to play on this team it doesn't matter what your overall grade is on some idiot from ESPN big board. Most fans do mock drafts and react this way because they were wrong. Niners drafted Warner Kittle Bosa Hall of Fame players How many teams have 3 future hall of famers on their rosters today. I'll wait. Big picture niners do well enough to always be in contention unless injury derails them.

Why can't Niner fans acknowledge that the Niners have been top 8 in drafting over the last 10 years. Kittle, Warner, Deebo, Ayuk, Greenlaw, Armstead, Ward, Hufunga, Purdy, Lenoir, Jennings, Banks, Puni, Bosa, & Buckner. Sure they have some big whiffs, but they are way above average.
