Absolutely devastating news. Mick was part of @OfficialShots fabric. A friend of over 40 years. We shared so many laughs. He still helped us at our @Armyfa1888 games and would do anything to help. One of the greatest Aldershot characters. Matchdays won’t be the same. RIP Mick

We are truly sorry to hear of the passing of long-term Shots fan and Eastbank steward, Mick Pullen. A face at the Rec for a long, long time, he was a true character, and known to many generations of Shots supporters. A wonderful man whose presence will be sorely missed. RIP Mick

Mike Pusey retired today as @OfficialShots Chaplain. He first took on role in mid 1970’s for Aldershot FC. A most inspirational, warm hearted, sincere human being who has supported so many over years. It was a privilege to provide tribute in the programme. Thank you Mike.

30 years this week since demise of Aldershot FC (1926/92). Upon reflection I’ve come to conclusion these guys were magicians for what they achieved as managers. Aldershot FC - our proud club that ruffled a few feathers and the Rec a place where clubs never enjoyed coming to.

The last time Aldershot Town won by three clear goals away from home with a travelling contingent there to see it - North Ferriby United (A) in April 2017.

Couldn’t make Aldershot match today but absolutely delighted to learn of 3-0 win at Eastleigh. From where we were to where we are as form team of last 5 matches is phenomenal achievement. To the manager, players and staff-thank you! For the fans- Enjoy. Lets keep it going 🔴🔵

1400 home fans is remarkable for team heading for 9th successive home defeat. Sadness standing on East Bank seeing so many people hurting tonight. Aldershot will always be my club. It’s a family thing. Time for level heads at such a delicate time. We all need a boost please 🔴🔵
